Watching the Island of Lost Souls at work tonight. There’s a bit on here about how Devo pretty much pulled the whole concept for their band and some of their songs from this film. This picture is from a right-wing christian book called Jacko-Homo Heavenbound. It talks about how man is against nature and an ape going to heaven and stuff. They mention it in the side tid-bit on Island of Lost Souls… I just appreciated it’s weirdness.
